THE ONCE PLACE OF NOTORIETY AND ENJOYMENT HAS LOST ITS LUSTER AND CUSTOMER RESPECT!

THIS IS THE TALE of a failing ship who lost its skipper. The Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City La. was once a joy for many people. {But now many in Texas are saying stay away from the Horseshoe} I this past weekend went to Bossier City with my family. My wife wanting to go to the Windstar Indian Casino in Oklahoma. But I myself have enjoyed my times down thru the years at the Horseshoe. So I again convinced everyone that I would drive and they could sleep for the 3 hours it takes to get to Bossier City. 3 Hours there and 3 hours back.. Its is only a one hour drive to Chactow Casino in Oklahoma, and an hour and 15 minute drive to Windstar Casion the worlds largest and newest Casion also in Oklahoma. Where my wife now prefers since an incident that happened last year and now again a problem this last weekend. Us after visiting the Horseshoe Casino 3 or 4 times a year. Now for over 17 years, I have driven the 6 hours, to go and relax, and to play the slots and eat at their restaurants. Usually paid for by my Wife??? The person they keep offending..

But, last year after the hotel suggesting we eat at the steak house. And we told them that we had buffet coups that we could use due to only staying one night. They offered us a comped meal at the steak house. We thought, wow, they are trying to return to the days of old??? But the next day when checking out we noticed that they had put the steak house on our room account for us to pay??? We showed them the problem. They stated that was no problem that they would take care of it and that it would be put back on our debit card.. So I drove us home. Then days later my wife seen that they had not put the money back in her account. So she called and told them what happened and they said they knew nothing about it. And that it was to late.. So I told my wife that that was BS. That she should call her bank. She did so, and they said they would have to remove the charge and she would need to get a new card. Then my wife noticed after all the time we spent trying to correct the issue that the bank had taken off the wrong charge. That they reomved one of her card charges instead of the meal from the hotel account that was charged.

She again tried contacting the horseshoe to explain what happen to straiten the problem out. She was told they would have someone call. And they did not. So I told her to not worry about it. NOW THIS PAST WEEK??? I convince everyone to let me drive them to the Horseshoe. Brought my Mother in law and my 30 year old daughter and her husband. Us down thru the years having brought many friends and family to the horseshoe. Even having some relatives from out of town to meet us there by our request several times down thru the years. Just me and my wife spending over and above 100,000 and more over the many years we have been for vacation and the like. But my wife was so badly insulted this past weekend in their near vacant casino. That the camels back has been broken.. 

My wife had been waiting on monday the 20th of March for her mothers shooter to charge so she woke us up and said lets go play some lots until mom's shooter charges. {We were to lave early but had trouble with the shooter} We agreed and went to the casino. On the second floor was a very scowling faced man who was working the bar. My daughter got herself a coffee and bayleys. And me and my wife went to the floor for games. Then minutes later my wife went to the bar and asked the bartender whom she had tipped before, who had waited on her before. She asked For a tequila sunrise. He twisted up his face and said I already gave you a drink??? That she would have to get her drink from the floor {which we now for years going to the horseshoe have been served at all the bars no problem if tip in hand} But he was very gruff telling my wife to get it from the waitress off the floor. Sounds trival correct??? his face was twisted and my wife without sleep due to spending money all night.

 So my Wife went out to the floor and minutes later the cocktail waitress walked by and my wife said could she have a tequila sunrise once again??? the cocktail waitress looked my wife in the face and said "that she had already asked my wife if she wanted a drink and that my wife said she did not want a drink." Then the waitress turned and walked off???  My wife became upset being she had given her mother 1000 dollars to spend and my daughter as well as paying for mine and her gaming. Now coming to being seen as way to much money??? 

I told her to be calm, and I went and got the names of both employee's and told her I would talk to someone later about the incident. I told her do not let this ruin your weekend's end. So once back to Dallas. I called the manager the next day, and was told by the hotel manager that he did not work the casino that he would have a manager call me.. Nothing, no returned call nothing.. I called again that afternoon spoke to someone else. They assured me a manager would call??? Nothing.. I the next day called and asked for assistance. Nothing.. Then finally a very strange man named Jason Williams called. He said I heard you had a complaint. I said I do, so I began telling him the story and he cut me off by saying. "Well understand, we video and film everyone and everything in this casino." {Oddly we had been told by the floor security the first day at the casino. That we could not video ourselves playing and trying to have fun together. Against casino rules. Then, what turned out to be a threatening statement from Jason Williams the enforcer. That he was going to check the videos and get back to me. No sorry, no we apologize for your troubles. But he was going to check up on us???}

So days later after my wife had called and I had called again. Jason calls me during the day on Saturday 5 days after the event. {Upsetting me and my poor Wife the benefactor once again} And told me that he checked the videos and asked me who was the woman in the white shirt. I said probably my wife the benefactor of everyones weekend. And he said that after viewing the video he believed that my wife was not insulted or treated badly by his employee's??? Very strange??? We going and spending 1000's there for years, having had rude employee's before. But never complaining all the many trips. Now without a sorry or apology, tough guy Jason was putting me and my wife in our place he felt. We are mere CUSTOMERS AND LONG TIME PATRONS WHO ARE TO LEAVE OUR MONEY AND BEGONE???

But this Layla waitress, and the bartender Alvin were to out of line to not inform the hotel and casino about them. Which was what we felt we were doing, was letting the Horseshoe and its dwindling patronage know they had very rude and even scary faced workers intimidating their customers. We felt a sorry, or even a laugh, and then promise us better treatment. Only instead Jason Williams the enforcer merely stated that my wife didnot get insulted or offended. Said he had examined the videos??? If they would have pulled a gun and shot us, or tackled us, this could be seen on film. But he said he could see that his employee's did nothing that was not expected from them that would be insulting to my wife??? 

ARROGANCE.. Feeling they are there to merely take money and film/video their customers. Jason offered me nothing, but, I have you on camera and I am going to check you out??? Then called my wife a lair by stating that she did not get badly treated. And I told him such after he stated. I said now you are just being an idiot. You just called my wife a lair. Him apparently feeling that me a one time respector of Jack Binions Horseshoe Hotel and Casino. Me who once told anyone bringing up gaming, that they should try Jack Binions Horseshoe. BUT NOW, I DID PROMISE Him. "JASON WILLIAMS" I would get back our funding of the Horseshoe now for years.. My Wife told me. They are out dated, that the Windstar Casino was closer and much better managed and is more modern and exciting. But I said Jack's...

And when we play at the Windstar they send us money and free dining and free accommodations. And they {Smile} and have so many games you never become bored. Classic games and newer. I have won there, as my wife. I AM JUST A TRADITIONALIST.. I began my gaming in the Horseshoe. So that is where my once loyalties laid.. But now I must agree with my Wife and her friends who begged me not to go to the Horseshoe. WHEN JACK BINION was in control the times were great at the Horseshoe. But now as my header declares. Jason Williams Horsesbutt Casino is just a downer for everyone..  So now instead of bringing them business. I will be spending my spare time taking back my money and business from them. 

I HAVE BEGUN Collecting bingo hall links and locations in Texas.. And I am soon to start in LA. Contacting all I can to show The now old fashion, once glorious horseshoe. That if they are going to act like the back room gambling rooms they once hid in. Maybe with the proper calls and notifications. We can put them back in their place of their beginning. And once I down load all the Indian Casinos locations and info. I will be buying a domain name for my newest blog.. So the world can know where not to visit with their family or friends..
